We produce a wide range of wines to suit different occasions and different palates - Rosso di Montepulciano DOC, Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva DOCG, Rosé IGT, Amsel (100% Merlot), Meluha (100% Cabernet Sauvignon), Super Tuscan IGT and Vinsanto di Montepulciano DOC. While continuing in the classic artisanal fashion, we blend traditional methods with innovate ideas to create wines with unique and refined aromas.
We are one of the oldest (since 2003) "certified organic" wineries in Montepulciano. Grapes are grown without chemical fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides which is reflected in the taste of our wines. Our goal is to practice environmentally conscious farming methods in our wine production. Wherever possible, we minimize the use of machines and emphasize working with our hands, especially during harvest, when we only select the best bunches. Maintaining the environment and giving back to the land is what defines our work. Thus, organic farming allows us to stay small.
This is what we are: a boutique winery, not a big business. You will not find our wines in any supermarket, but only in selected shops and restaurants.

Our winemaking story now unfolds across two exceptional locations, one is “Il Quercione” and the other one, “Manvi - Winery and B&B”, is our head office. Our main estate, set in the heart of Tuscany’s rolling hills, perfectly combines boutique wines with warm hospitality. Alongside our organic vineyards, there you will find an exclusive B&B featuring a panoramic pool. Whether you are relaxing by the water or enjoying private yoga lessons, every moment is accompanied by our finest wines for a truly immersive experience.

Hi, we are Puru and Sudha, a Canadian/Swiss couple of Indian origin that gave up our successful banking careers and moved to Italy to follow our passion for wine and yoga. What began as a dream became reality in October of 2015. Located in the rolling hills of Tuscany, Il Quercione vineyard and winery is a small family-run farm passionate about producing high quality organic wines that truly represents the region.
